Truthspeak

A Roman governor once asked Jesus Christ, "What is truth?" Today, many souls are searching for the truth and sincerely asking God the same question. Unfortunately, much of the religious heritage bearing the name of "Christianity" cannot provide a trustworthy answer to this question. So much of Christendom is not true biblical Christianity but is actually a distortion of the liberating, grace-filled message of Jesus Christ and His apostles. Like the mind-controlling "Newspeak" of the nation of Oceania in George Orwell's classic book, 1984, the "Big Brother" of religion has distorted the true meaning of the central terms of the Christian faith.

In Truthspeak, Dr. Michael D. Halsey, President of Free Grace Seminary and Pastor of County Line Church, sets the record straight regarding five key terms of the Christian faith. He clarifies biblically that GRACE does not mean works; FINISHED does not mean incomplete; REPENTANCE does not mean do penance; BELIEVE does not mean commit, submit, yield, and obey; and JUSTIFIED does not mean guilty until proven righteous.
